ABOUT DOCTOR:
• Dr. Bhan is a highly accomplished cardiovascular surgeon and a gold medalist from Medical College Srinagar, where he was recognized as the Best Outgoing Graduate.
• He holds extensive experience in aortic surgery and is regarded as one of the most experienced surgeons in this field in India.
• Throughout his career, he has successfully performed over 15,000 cardiac and vascular procedures.
• He has also contributed to surgical innovation by designing and developing more than 50 instruments used in cardiac surgery.
• Dr. Bhan was part of the landmark team that performed India’s first successful heart transplant in 1994.
• He played a key role in establishing cardiac surgical programs at Puttaparthi (1992), Whitefield (2001), and the Max Heart and Vascular Institute, Saket (2004).
