ABOUT DOCTOR:
Dr. Amit Kumar Chaurasia is a distinguished Interventional Cardiologist and an alumnus of India’s premier institutions—JIPMER, AIIMS New Delhi, and SCTIMST Trivandrum.
Completed an advanced Fellowship in Complex Coronary and Structural Heart Disease at GOKI, Budapest, Hungary, where he trained and worked for nearly three years.
Internationally recognized for his expertise in Structural Heart Interventions, particularly TAVI/TAVR, and is among the first TAVI proctors in India, having performed over 1,000 TAVI/TAVR procedures.
Has extensive experience in complex coronary interventions, including Left Main, Chronic Total Occlusion (CTO), and high-risk angioplasty procedures, with more than 10,000 cardiac procedures performed to date.
Specializes in adult, pediatric, and peripheral interventions, including TMVR, MitraClip, ASD/VSD/PDA closures, TPVR, carotid and aortic interventions (TEVAR/EVAR), and renal artery denervation.
Actively contributes to medical education as a course director, faculty, and trainer at numerous national and international conferences, mentoring cardiologists in India and abroad.
